Can someone Fill me in on the anime Wolf's Rain?

I need too know a lot about it including the ending

Put simply, it's about four wolves who have the ability to "appear" human to actual humans. They are searching for Paradise (Rakuen) with the help of a girl called the Flower Maiden. At the end of the show, the villian kills all of the wolves except the main character, who drowns. Basically, the world ends and restarts-- the world, at its beginning, is the true "Paradise," until disease and other things plague it and cause it to become rotten again. In the last episode they show a city similar to the one at the beginning, with all of the main characters reincarnated and ironically living in the same area. They also show a lunar flower, which is in essence, the Flower Maiden. It seriously won't make sense unless you watch the show..
