Welcome to Wal-Mart, the poster child for the Big-Corporation, Christian-Conservative Republican Party.

It's amazing how poorly they treat their employees, especially in Workers' Comp cases. They deny just about every claim.

Funny, Wal Mart near me sells condoms and KY - 'family planning' materials, no?

And if the same guy buys a gun at Wal Mart and defends his family by shooting a burglar, what then?

The problem is that it's a non-governmental corporation. They also refuse to sell uncensored music. You wanna do something about it? Don't buy there. Buy at K-Mart; buy at Target; buy online. Wal-mart's strength is in its purchasing power. If its customer base goes away, then its power to affect products being sold goes away. Simple as that.

Welcome to the South.

Wal-Mart is run by a conservative, Christian family, and they have the right to sell what they want and not sell what they don't want.

Frankly with their wages and benefits -- not to mention where and how many of their products are manufactured -- Wal-Mart cannot by any informed person be considered very family oriented anyway.

Maybe its more socially acceptable to go hunting or shooting with family members. You cant really do that with a Maxim and still be considered a wholesome family.

A store has a right to sell whatever it wants (subject to law) and to refuse to sell anything too.

And you, the customer with the money, have a right to shop elsewhere. That's how you effect change - by using your money.

The new american way! Janet Jackson nipple was a DISASTER but horrific, gruesome violence is okay. Just watch the TV sometime with that in mind, it is rediculous.

In the US, sexuality is much more censored then violence. It is pretty much the opposite in most other countries, but Walmart is a US based company.
