my computer switched off automatically 2 times in the last two hours , i dont think there has been a power problem because i have switched it first time during the day ??so what is the possible cause

Hi, if you don't have spyware or viruses in your computer after you have scanned your system. The only other cause can be overheating if you have a laptop.
I find that the fans are much to small in the laptops and after a long period of use I can feel the heat coming from the laptop an it will shut down on it's own.

If it is an old PC, your power supply could be going bad.

mainly bad drivers, conflicts, or too many things running. or bugs and/or might be a sign of hardware problems
