Well, first of all, keep your clothes on..If the repair/recall was effected three years ago in my opinion you are out in left field. If it is a saftey issue you may have some leverage..Again, if it was three years ago I suspect you will get no help..Autos are not supposed to last a lifetime.. If you feel that you are justified in your claims of mistreatment by the dealer then you should by-pass local dealers and call or write customer service at the manufacture level... Most manu's have a web site that you can start the ball rolling on..

Well first off, let me say that there is alot of different things that will cause different problems with cars, I'd make sure it was that poticular thing that caused your problem first.
Now if the repair is what caused your problem, I would definately make sure the dealer took care of it. And if your having problems getting any cooperation out of them, Either take a man along with you or mention calling your lawyer. For some reason that always gets people to cooperate with you better! What ever you do, don't let them give you the run around and if they tell you anything make sure you get a second opinion!

i am not sure who you can call i would be very persistant with the dealer. Just remember this, if a part is replaced on your car under warrenty, the warrenty on that part is extended and now covered for longer than the original warrenty.

go to the dealer that did the work, and don't worry about being a whore eventhough I know you like being one.
Just be firm and tell them that this WILL be fixed for free, and don't take no from anyone. Dealer service is a sham
