No. It is as if someone gave you a copy of the book. Possibly as a present. Not the most conventional way, but still the same. The same would be true if they e-mailed you a song. As long as they didn't charge for it, it is a gift.

It's not actually his new book. I received this mail a few years ago, when he last had a book about to come out. It's got lots of good recipes but they're actually nicked from various of his old books. It's a hoax.
