I used to really look forward to the holiday season, but I have worked in the retail business for quite a few years and anymore I can't wait for it to be over!!! It has absolutely nothing to do with the hustle and bustle this time of year I actually enjoy that part. I suppose it's more because I work customer service and people think that I am there just for them to treat like dirt. So maybe while you're out there shopping or returning remember it tis the season for cheer not cussing out. Merry Christmas

Yes, thank you. This past year was rather difficult ... loss of loved ones and the end of a very long, and in the end, verbally abusive relationship. Fortunately, I am seeing someone new and the world is full of possibilities. Last year it was a burden to put up the tree and decorate the house. This year it was done with joy and excitement. Yes, I am looking forward to Christmas and the New Year. It's an awesome feeling!
Merry Christmas!

I'm looking forward to going to my mom's house on Christmas Eve and eating ham and all the fixings. She makes alot of German pastries like Stollen and Lindsertorte They are awesome. Plus she will probably make lots of cookies and pecan and cherry pie. Last year she made a cheesecake. My mom is a genius in the kitchen. She really is a phenomenal cook. We will probably have Roast Beast on Christmas Day dinner. Is your mouth watering yet? I need to go eat.
I celebrate Christmas with my family because it's important to spend time with them. But, I'm not Christian. I take solace in the fact that Christmas is just a rehash of The Old Religion celebrations, so in my heart, I'm celebrating Yule.

I just look forward to a day off work. I have no family so Christmas is just another day to me. I do envy other people who are lucky enough to have family to be able to spend time with them during Christmas.

I always do, but this year I'm not. I lost my mom last Jan so the idea kind of scares me....
But Christmas is the best time of the year (except I'm in Jersey and it means more traffic and more people are out) normally. I'm just not looking forward to this year.
I hope you are though!

What a nice question! Yes I am thank you, I love this time of year with all the lights, present-giving, friends & family and generally just having a good time. There's too much cynicism but I really enjoy it. How about you?

Of course!!! I enjoy Christmas because I love to see my friends' faces when they open their gifts. Even though none of them really get me anything, I continue to buy thoughtful things for people who were nice to me all year.
And even though my family's broken and we never celebrate Christmas on Christmas due to everyone's schedule, it's still nice to see the festivites around town. It's nice to see people happy.
