Why wont some americans admit they are fat and deny it? I found this quote from a pathetic american pretending to be a brit so he could say good things about America, he was answering a question "Why is USA so fat?:
"LOOK! There are more fat people here in the UK, there are hardly any fat people in usa, its just a myth, there are lots of skinny people in the usa and even more fat people here"
I mean how pathetic, when i looked at his questions they were like, "Which college to go to in Iowa?" and all these american ones like... PATHETIC!

NOT all American's are fat,... there are North, Central, and South American's ....and they're NOT all fat,... those who have money and love to eat ....they can eat all they want... like in North America,... those who don't have money like in poor countries ...they can't eat all they want... so they are consider "skinny" hahaha... well how ever it is that you want to see it... some don't even get fat cause they eat alot... Fat people, they're all over the world,... leave them alone, and let them be haha... well,.... not only in North America... the "USA" ...so yeah.... my opinion sucks! haha so don't mind me. I'm just a little bored.

With all of the diet and exercise products for sale in the US (not to mention the advertising spent on said products) I hardly think the country has a problem admitting its obesity epidemic.
However, I surely hope you weren't degrading the universities of the US. I'm sure there are few universities in the UK that could match the agricultural studies of the University of Iowa...for example.

I don't blame that person for trying to stick up for his country. Give him a break, sheesh. Anyways, as an American, I do think there are quite a lot of obese people around me and I wish they would be taking steps to try and live healthier lives. The news is ALWAYS talking about how our country has a weight problem. You shouldn't generalize just because of one person. There are people here who are anorexic and stuff like that, just like anywhere else probably.

Hey. I am NOT fat. I am just hard to kidnap..lol..heard that on tv..I will be the first one to admit I am fat. With today's stress and lifestyle it's no wonder people are overweight. I would love to eat fruts and vegetables and lean meats but it would takes an entire months salary for me to buy food like that plus if I joined a gym or anything...those cost are outrageous.

The only reason there are more fat people in the US than Britain is the fact that there are more people. If the UK had a population over 300 million, they would take the cake.....literally.

I could be stereotypical and ask you "Why won't Brits admit to having bad teeth and being such snobs?", but I won't.
You can't take things like that seriously, I think you just have to come out here and see America for yourself to find out that we aren't all fat. I, for one, am perfetly healthy! It's documentaries like "Super Size Me" that lead you to believe that we are all that way.

they may have to face up to reality. i was skinny, got fat real fat thought about it and lost all my weight but the 10Pd's that made me look not too skinny. so reality is i was fat and we can do something about it. we are the most materialistic people in the world as well. the give me- give me. we take even when we don't need it. thanks as far as college go to Harvard and go to learn not to look you will be a success.

we are a bunch of fatasses statistically but its not everyone. I know more people who are a normal weight than I do fat people.
whats wrong with college suggestions by the way? fat people cant learn?
