I broke up with him cause it was the right thing to do. Yes it hurts! but im ready to move on. He keeps writing me just to check on me... and i do reply back cause i can't ignore him and and don't wanna be rude. Below is what he wrote to me today .. what is he trying to say?
"I know I'm supposed to ignore you and all that...but if you keep responding to every mail.....how am I going to achieve my goal ? ......Just the way you always had to have the last kiss.......it seems you have a desire to have the last word too... "
why do you suppose this happens ? :))

It sounds to me like you made the RIGHT decision to break up.

Because you keep responding. Just stop. Don't even read what he says. Then you won't feel the need to write back. Delete. Set up your email to automatically trash his address. BTW, he's not writing you to check on you. You broke up with him and he's not over it yet. You can tell this by the way he refers to kissing. He's teasing you. Let it all go.

When You break up with someone for the most part in order to really move on you must sever all ties.
Like Samantha in Sex in The City said:
"When I'm done with them, I'm DONE with them".
Otherwise it's a back and forth game worthy of two toddlers in kindergarten.
You must take time for yourself and do things with friends, family or on your own, take evening classes. volunteer, meet as many people as you can.
Do all you can to really move on. last word or not. it does not matter, the relationship is over. let it go.

You should set some boundaries for your friendship, and make sure he knows that you are just friends. Make sure he knows that it is over or he will keep bugging you until you give in and you do not need him to pressure you right know. It is hard to brake up with someone. Good Luck.

if you dont want to be with him then stop writing back you are only giving him hope. if you want to be friends with him then tell him just cause im your friend. just dont lead him on let him move on.

Obviously if he's writing you that, then he doesn't want to hear from you anymore. STOP E-MAILING HIM!!! It's to hard for him to still talk to you so let it be.
