Hi,
Firstly list the items you require in a bike. (Like fuel economy, style, thrill, service, cost factor, purpose, experience of others, etc.) Don't ignore any minor points, as it may prove your evaluation wrong at a later day. Arrange these points in different column of a table
Next list available brands, in rows of the table.
Nextly, visit all the available showrooms and collect information about the bike. Collect through userfeed back (mouthshut.com is one of the best) and dont forget to enquire your friends.

Now in the above table, give mark (0 to 10) to each of the brands for the particular points you expect in the bike. Do this without any bios.

Now you can purchase the brand with maximum total mark. You will be happy for your decision always.
Best wishes.

The style (looking) and mileage are oppotite aspects these days, as u can see the bike which has more power it has style but it cant give you sufficient mileage, more CC the less Mileage. 100CC bikes can give you mileage of 70-80Kms. While 125 CC bikes can give you 55-65Kmpl while 150-180 bikes can give 45-55. All 100CC bikes are good in mileage but they dont appeal in style and looking, all 125,150 & 180CC bikes appeal in style while they cant give mileage upto the mark. So why dont you go for Bajaj Discover 125CC, Hero Honda Glamour125CC. They both have looking and mileage. If you want to go for 100CC then choose definately TVS STARCITY.

because you requested this question, i'm assuming you're a newbie. The kawasaki ninja sequence motorcycles are very nimble, look good and function good mileage and are also very tender. bypass for 500 or above. the 250 is only too lower than-powered. the suzuki sv650 are more advantageous suited searching and larger sporty. not confident of mileage. once you're performed with a newbie bike, bypass for a yamaha R6 (i imagine they offer the impact of being very aggressive).

I'm with neo on that on. Go for the Apache if you want a bike to get around the city, although if you want to go for long distance trips you want to consider buying an Enfield, which comes with a worse milage/consumption ratio. Hondas are a good second.
