I liked both shows.
They are two different type of sitcoms so its difficult to compare.
Both shows were entertaining and both lost steam in the end.
I will say I preferred Rosanne in the earlier seasons; the show started to jump ship when she switched to Roseanne Arnold. And I liked Full House more in the early days as well.

It really depends on your age. Younger people prefer Full House for the wholesomeness and happy family theme. Older audiences enjoy Roseanne for the hilarious sarcasm and comedy. I'd have to say ROSEANNE! Funny, funny, funny! Plus the actors have won More Emmys and Golden Globes than the cast of Full House did...

Full House it wasn't as trailer trashy and they didn't have foul mouths. Roseanne is so disgusting and she is obnoxious as well.
I know Full House can get corny but it was a better family comedy than Roseanne.

"Full House" was targeted more towards younger viewers. "Roseanne", while still considered a family comedy, had more adult situations in it.
Personally, I preferred "Full House" while growing up. Hardly ever watched "Roseanne". I still sometimes enjoy watching "Full House" in reruns today.

Definately Roseanne, though there not really anything alike so it seems weird to compare them. I still watch the reruns on nick at night. LOL you just have to love it. I like it better cuz its about real life, lower class. I like shows like that better.

Full house is more of a commercial family, fake. Roseanne, however, is more blue collar.

Roseanne, because it seemed more lifelike. Full house seemed kind of phony a lot of the time.

roseanne, because full house was just too sickly sweet for me but thats just my opinion
