They tell me i did in Iraq. i remember nothing. I remember the pain, then i heard medical voices, my friends, people i knew, some of them crying, then nothingness. next thing i knew i was coming out of a blurred vision sleep, seeing a green hospital wall. Sorry to say, i didn't really believe in God before, and considering that the doctors said i died twice on the table, and i saw nothing, I really don't believe now. I didn't even get that out of body experience that people talk about.

About the subject of dying? Hmmmm?
Well there was a time that literally I bled to death so the record states. But it was very painful when I was conscious, as it were I was not conscious for very long. However they took me to surgery and on the way in the surgical suite I awoke with great pain and cursed the doctors and then they put the ether to my face because to give me sodium pentathal would stop my heart. I do remember not being in that body, watching the 30 feet of bowel being taken out and cleaned and put back in, I know weird right? Maybe I was dreaming maybe it was the effect of the ether. But my heart stopped twice during an 8 and a half hour surgery, and the other strange thing was, I am the rarest blood and I needed 14 units on the spot and that hospital (a no name insignificant spot) had that blood that I needed to survive. Weird again? Well then when I awoke it was only when I re-entered my body and my chest was killing me. This was after the surgery and I was all stitched up. My face touched the face that was looking at it and I gasped and man that was painful to breathe. But I made it and here I am to tell the tale. No tunnels no lights just a visual from above and beyond. By the by they actually were applying the zappers fibulators to my chest when I re-entered.
So ta ta for now be back again later. Yes I believe in spirits and the body can die but we still live on some how with the grace of G-D there walks you and I and all.

If you want to know about life after death then there are many books on the subject. Some deal with near-death experiences which are events people who have died for a certain amount of time or were pronounced clinically dead and then revived after a time recount upon their return from the dead. They recount what they experienced or rather what their spirits experienced. I wrote about some the spiritual life in my book titled, "When You Die You'll Come Alive." You can purchase it from Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, or Borders, Books, and Music.

Jesus Christ died for all men, John Brown died for the black man, and the saints of God died for the cause of freedom by choosing to die for Him.
But only ONE came back, and because of HIM we sing in the Battle Hymn of the Republic: As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free. Because Jesus can feel our pain and knows our fear, He comes to us in prayer and brings us help and consolation to ease our strife. One day He will put an end to all strife. He has promised to bring us peace. "Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all men", promised at His birth by the angels. "Peace I say to you, my peace I give unto you." Words from the Mass of the Catholic Church
