Christmas eve after they have gone to bed. have them wrapped and ready to go. there was a family with little ones like that and they were curious as to what they were getting for Christmas, so their parents brought the gifts over to our house and we wrapped them as we talked and played games -- we had no children and a large basement so for several years the poor kids had no chance to find their Christmas gifts. we had a ball.

It's okay to put presents from "mom and dad" under the tree a few days before Christmas, but I would wait until after they have gone to bed on Christmas Eve before putting out any "santa" presents. Also, just be sure to wrap them in different paper than the other presents. Kids are more observant than you'd think, if my cousins are any indication.
If you're afraid of your kids getting in to the presents, it might be best to keep all presents away from the tree (even ones from you to your partner and vice-versa), because some kids just really love ripping the wrapping paper. It sounds like that might be the best option for your kids, given your description, but you know best. :)

What do you advise? Santa delivers them to those on his good record the nighttime previously Christmas, aboard his sleigh powered with techniques from Christmas Spirit and his reindeer. each and anybody is established with that. do not count number your chickens previously they hatch~ you're receiving a abate packed with nasty-stanking coal.

We put the ones from us under as we get them wrapped in regular Xmas paper and ones from Santa arrive mysteriously overnight and are wrapped in newspaper.

Anytime you feel like it unless you have family members that are untrustworthy. With my 8 year old daughter; she gets excited and wants to open them right away so I allow her to open one...just one (any one she chooses) but the others must wait until Christmas Day..It works for me.
