I was just put on zofran because I have been so sick with my 3rd pregnancy. Can anyone tell me their expierences being on zofran while pregnant. Did it have any side effects? And did it work for you? Thanks!

I've been taking Zofran almost daily for 5 weeks. I have been so nauseous. I am still nauseous on Zofran, but it does help. Also it seems to wear off quickly. I find Phenergan to be better at reducing nausea, but it makes me SO tired so I take Zofran during the day. It's very easy to take, and the only side effect I've noticed is constipation. I had to get a stool softener, and I try to walk every day and drink lots of water. I can't wait for the nausea to go away so I can stop the Zofran. Constipation is terrible, and I've never had that problem! Good luck.

I agree with the previous poster in that while I did not find Zofran nearly as effective as Phenergan, I liked that it did not cause any side effects, especially the incredibly drowsiness like the Phenergan. Zofran took the edge of the nausea so that I was able to function.

I was also on Zofran. It is the best. It works fast, doesn't taste bad, and will really help. I had no side effects with it. Good luck!!!
