Easy, just click tools when u go on internet explorer and click internet options. Go to general and click Clear History. If u never want it showing up, then type in 0 where it says how many days to save up ur history. Thats all!

Go to tools, then click on Internet options, click on delete cookies. I also click on delete files and I click on delete histories. This clears out everything. You will also notice that there is a place there to choose how many days to keep pages in history. I hit the 0 days option because I don't know who is going to be on my computer sometimes. The amount of space these addresses are kept on your computer use only minimal space.

Yes, it uses some of the memory of your computer. For Firefox you can use clear cache and for Internet Explorer options->clear history & temporary files.
You can also use a ghost program, wwhich clears all the sites you have visited.
