Honestly, will you feel better when you turn him in? All you know is what you see... I'd stay out of it if I were you. (a woman turned her neighbor & long time friend into the state for what she thought was neglect of her children. The mother in question was working 4 low paying jobs trying to provide for her kids. Yes, she had issues. The nosy neighbor had no idea that the state would take this lady's kids from her. She wanted to scare her that's all. Well, this was the 4th time she had been called in & the mother then committed suicide.) If you want to help this man, then by all means call him up & offer to help. Otherwise, stay out of it. You have no idea what goes on behind closed doors!

Get documentation but you can go ahead and call SS office and do your report. Simple as that. They will have someone come out and assess the situation--that's why documentation would be best, then you can also mail the 'evidence' to the SS office.

With his heart problems, he is legitimately on SSD. Why would you even think of turning in a guy who is doing his best to enjoy the years he has left? I would congratulate him!

Why are you snitching on this person? Does this effect you personally or are you just mad that he is getting a free ride?? Snitching on him isn't your business if you aren't personally effected. I would stay out of it and focus on working to support yourself/family unless it involves your life and wellbeing.
