Yes it hurts really bad- but there is the epidural if you can't tolerate the pain. I had the epidural, and it lasted for the first 15 hrs... after that, the last 4 hrs, it wore off entirely, so I was in extreme pain for that time... so bad, my mom cried, and they all had to leave the room. I was also rushed c-section... my baby just wasn't descending- and turned out he weighed 9lbs 10oz... I don't think he would have fit the way his head was after birth. Anyways, the epidural while I had it was great, I was even giggling with my dad when I had it! THis doesn't happen to everyone, but to some... so don't let this scare you too badly. But it felt like my pelvis was going to shatter- very intense.
Goodluck with it- you could end up c-section if your twins aren't turned correctly, but there's always a possibility to have them natural- I know lot's that have... just take care of yourself and you will be fine.
Names- I would name them different names- nothing really the same- let them be unique individuals even though they are twins. I like : Hailey- will be my girl name :) Averie, Ava, Makaila, Mackenzie, Jenna, Jaden, Jalen, Cadence
Goodluck.

I have twin boys. I have no other children so have no idea if it hurts more, but apparately I hardly made a sound through my whole 17 hour labour. However, because they are likely to be smaller then it is likely that it will hurt less.
I woudl highly recommend using hypnosis. I listened to a hypnosis CD the whole time, used a TENS machine and the gas and air and was fine. I had an epidural between the babies as the second one needed a vonteuse delivery but I felt fine really.
My boys were 6lb 4 and 6lb 9 and about an hour afterwards I felt quite happy about the prospect of going through childbirth again (once my stiches had healed up that is!)
I think age has nothing to d with how much it hurts ut more your attitude. If you are relaxed and happy (I knw that isn't easy) then your body is less susceptible to pain which is why using hypnosis is a geat distraction.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

Well, a lot of twins are delivered c-section because of the risks to them. You will be sore for a little while if that is the case. I've had four kids naturally. It hurts but you can always have an epideural if you are scared. You'll be fine. Just take care of your health and eat right. You can always talk to your doctor. They can tell you your options for pain management better than anyone else.
When you give birth without pain medicine it hurts and burns, but when you push it actually feels good. Hard to believe but, trust me, it does. Imagine really bad period cramps that are constant and gradually get worse and a pressure way down there. It hurts and you can't get comfortable. But, when you start to push, it feels great. It relieves your pain and you want to keep pushing. It might burn a bit down there too. But that means that the baby is almost out and that you are in the home stretch. The second baby would come out soon after and you'd have to push again. It isn't as bad as it sounds. I did it four times in five years! Hope it helps!

it's goin to hurt, quite a bit. but not more so than just having one. epidural will help, granted u will still feel the pressure, but not so much the pain itself. don't be shy while ur in labor to ask your doc for something for pain because i think most docs won't do an epidural till you are at 4cm dialation.
as for names, try not to do the rhyming twin names, or twin names that start w/ the same letter.. that's quite confusing and could cause addition stress on the children(by getting made fun of in school and such).....

Being youthful shouldn't impact how lots discomfort you have for the duration of exertions. yet i might say thinking your age and which you're being concerned twins your ob rfile will in all probability scheduele you for a c-section. (thats how my cousins twins the place born..yet she replaced into 20) Now for the c-section i've got had 2 such as 21 hours of time-honored exertions with the 1st baby and approximately 4 hrs of contracitons with the 2d baby. i'm no longer gonnna lie the contractions do harm yet as quickly as you have your epidural each and all the discomfort is long gone. A c-section isn't as undesirable as all of us places it out to be. in basic terms determine that as quickly as the rfile/nurse comprises get you off the mattress you arise and pass around (confident you would be sore) yet once you dont arise that's going to easily be worse for you. And once you get homestead make certain you walk around especially circumstances to artwork the soreness out, in basic terms dont over do your self. and that i dont wanna scare you or something yet my cousins twins the place introduced approximately 4 weeks early so as that they did spend some weeks in icu previously they got here homestead! so which you would be able to wanna talk on your wellbeing practitioner approximately all this he/she would be able to allow you know what all to assume. I choose you each and all the success interior the worldwide! Twins are alot of artwork (i've got been some extra effective hands for my cousin end slightly)!! stable success! and that i'm hoping you have loads of human beings that could be useful you out!

Since you are so young and having twins, it is probably going to be a risky pregnancy. As long as you are willing, your doctor will do a c-section. So, you won't have to birth your twins. Good luck.

Your first is the hardest, do not let the doctor talk you into inducing to fit you in his schedule, I tried to not be induced but was in labor or 72 hours, and my water had broken, so it was that or cesarean. My pains were always at the top of the chart, and when I actually had a pain,it peaked the scale. I eventually started quitting breathing, so they made me take a pain shot. My second one was a lot easier, but my uterus is tilted and I think they had me in labor longer than I needed to be the first time. My niece did an epidural, and it sounded like an option to consider for your first. And go for the pain meds. I was bull headed and still had too. Lol I am married to a twin, and they run in my family. I had the names Audrina and Adrianna picked out but I like Rhiannon and Cheyenne as well as from my Algonquian tongue of my ancestors...Chepi (Fairy Spirit), Sokanon (Rain) and I found this list, but I don't recognize all of them, they are a mixture of various Native American dialects. ..

Amadahy: Forest water

Good Luck, and enjoy your babies. You are going to be so content, once you get over the fear and realize they won't break, and they listen to everything you say. They will already recognize your voice, for they can hear it inside. Enjoy. And I never tried one, but if I had to do it again a first time, I think I would go epidural. I wish you well. Tried to get a picture for you but it won't let me, too many pixels. Take care...
