Last night's episode was a rerun and next week is going to be one as well. does anyone know why?

Grey's Anatomy is on hiatus a.k.a. winter break. Every show has it. We'll be getting reruns until January 4th 2007. I can't wait till then!

because the cast and crew need time to shoot the rest of the season. So in the mean time they just show reruns. They either do that or they could shoot it first then show the whole season continually starting in January.

Because they only tape 22 or 23 episodes and the TV season is 35 weeks long.

Usually during the holiday seaon some shows are reruns. maybe they're afraid people are too busy to watch.
