Depends on the manufacturer.
XXL is often a half-size bigger than XL, but not as big as a "true" 2X.
2XL can mean "double big AND extra LONG. which is still not the same as an XXLT, which is double big and TALL.
Its all code language and all specific to each individual maker.

NO. XXL is a little bigger than XL and is used in "Misses: size clothing. 2X is a size 22 and in the "Plus" sized category. (eBay-ers - you want to be clear on that.)
