My grandma has it and it's so not for my age range plus the too ranges older than me. It doesn't suit people from 1-35. No offence but it is for the older women not someone young like you if you are young that is.(not trying to sound mean)

Chanel No. 5 is the first fragrance from Coco Chanel. At first it was only given to her friends and best clients. Later, it was sold. When asked what she wore to bed, Marilyn Monroe replied "Two drops of Chanel No. 5."

Chanel's status image and marketing keep this fragrance famous.

Perfumes interact with each person's body chemistry and heat differently. The only way to tell if you will really enjoy wearing this perfume is to try some at a perfume counter and wear it for at least a day. If you think you're really interested, ask for a sample. If you don't want a sample, can try it on several different days as you shop this holiday season to get an even better idea of whether or not you want to buy it.

In my opinion, Chanel No. 5 is a strong scent that clings to clothing (coats, sweaters, scarves, etc.) which makes it hard to wear. I like the bottle and image more than I enjoy the scent.

Chanel No. 5 is a very strong old lady kind of perfume. When I smell Chanel No. 5 I don't imagine a young person wearing it, but more like a sophisticated older woman.

Chanel's perfumes are really! strong, and most of them do smell like for a older person... I got Chanel number 5 perfume in Sensual Elixir, it's sorta strong at first but after you have it on for a little while then the strong smell fades and it smells alot better.

Chanel #5 is a classic just like any other chanel item. It has a name and a reputation to stand up for.

Whenever I smell it, it reminds me of my grandmother. Apparantly there is this whole story behind it. Chanel no. 5 was the original perfume from Coco Chanel.

I love that smell! It is spectacular. It may seem like an older person perfume, but when younger women wear it I think it makes them seem sophisticated and timeless!
