ive recently bought clerks.x, and think its really really cooool!!what would you recommend next for my DVD collection??

Being John Malcovich
If you want to just add to a Kevin Smith Collection you need:
Dogma (easily his second best after Clerks 1)
Mallrats
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Stay away from Jersey Girl and Chasing Amy...they kind of sucked.
EDIT: Memento is voted one of the top 100 indie flicks by the imdb, Wheras "Chasing Amy" was just an ok boy-meets-girl flick. Jersey Girl, however, completely sucked.

Don't get Memento!!! it sucked bad
anyway judging from whats above I will def say get Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, Being John Malkovich, Clerks 2, Chasing Amy (it did not suck)
A few other good ones: A Few Good Men, A Time to Kill, Lord of War, Blow

I am a huge fan of Kevin's stuff and have all his movies and movies made by the other people in the View Asknewiverse. I highly recommend them all.
Get An Evening with Kevin Smith. It is him at different colleges answering questions from the audience. Hilarious and also lets you in on a lot of info you might not already know about his movies and projects.

Clerks is black and white and was shot for $27,000. Why don't you go with Blair Witch Project next?
