Does anyone know what happened between Brooke and Lucas on One Tree Hill in season 2??

i know this question sounds a little lame but i came into the show late and missed the first and second season .... so any help with catching up would be great until i can buy the dvds!

Well, Brooke and Lucas were together. Brooke later found out though that Lucas was cheating on her with Peyton, Brooke's best friend. Essentially, Brooke and Lucas broke up. Brooke later on forgave both Lucas and Peyton though.

Well, Brooke and Lucas started dating and got really serious. When Peyton thought her dad was lost at sea by this horrible storm, her and Lucas went to check while Brooke stayed behind incase he called. Well, they had to spend the night in a hotel because a bridge was closed til morning. The next morning Lucas and Peyton started kissing and things start happening. Then Peyton's hair gets caught in Lucas' necklace and he says Brooke gave him that necklace so they stop. They come back home and try to forget about what happened, but can't. So they're planning on telling Brooke what happened and Lucas really wants to be with Peyton so he's gonna break up with her. But Lucas is in a really bad car accident and is in the hospital for awhile. Peyton comes by to see him, but not while Brooke's there and things are just weird between her and Brooke. When he finally comes home he kinda ignores Brooke because all the can think about is Peyton. He sneaks out to go see her and Brooke goes to Lucas' to check on him. When she goes into his room she sees him and Peyton's on his computer from Peyton's web cam. And all heck brakes loose!!! She ends up dumping him (of course) and now she hates Peyton. I think that's all that happened in 1 and 2. I don't think Brooke tried again with Lucas until season 3 when it all starts over again.
