There is probably a star being born as well as one dying every second of the day. If your seeing something out of the ordinary it's probably a planet.

Stars are being born all the time. The problem is finding them in the sky with all the billions of them already out there.

Yes there are but not any that you can see with your eyes...
There are also less stars but due to the fact that it takes millions of years for the light to get here you dont see them dim down...

It could be light finally reaching the Earth from thosands of years ago. Anythinig you see in the sky is from the past, thousands if not millions of years ago.

not that i have seen, but maybe you are seeing a planet. they become very close to earth and shine so brite. merry christmas to you.
