If the father has a AO genotype, then the chances are 50% of having an O child. If the father has a AA genotype, then there is zero chance of a O child.

If both parents are genotyped at +- (or Dd, using the other Rh notational scheme), then the chances of getting an Rh neg child is 25%.

So assuming the parents have genotypes which make an O neg child possible, then 25% times 50% yields a 12.5% chance of an O neg child.
