I have one on Myspace (from one of my earlier questions where I needed to find music for him) and there are several people who believe that I am actually a musician from France. I seem to enjoy doing things like this, and I wonder if there is a name for it? I don't "believe" that I am actually any of these "people".

lol... I actually don't care if it's lying. I'm not hurting anyone, and as far as I can remember it has always just been for fun. The one I have on Myspace is just to see how many "fans" I can get for my French superstar

I am a firm believer tha everyone has many sides to THEM.. ad if you feel comfortable hiding within the role that best helps you for a time, that's okay. Just realize that i's only part o you- be careful.

It's okay to manifest an alternate personality to bring out other traits within yourself. Aliases are mostly used to keep your real name secret. Not to make up stuff about yourself.
So if you're not a musician, or from France, then your a straight-up LIAR.
