Crap like: Who's your favorite player. What's your favorite team. What player do you hate? Who is going to win the world series in 2007? My god, where do these "people" come from? Thanks goodness there are a few of you who actually ask "REAL" questions and give "REAL" answers. Do you waste your time answering these dumb questions or just bypass them?

Shelley L, I think you're beautiful but I think you're wrong. I really don't take this too serious. As my ebuddy "Eagles Nest" said, I'm just stirring the pot a little. See, you and I have something in common, we both can't stand Barry "Steroid" Bonds. You've earned a thumbs up!! lol

Dude the audience that this and every forum in here has can vary between the ages of 7 and 99. Those "superficial" questions that you disdain probably come from kids aged 9 or 10. As you noted there are some good questions asked in here but then look at the vulgar stupid answers given in return. It's a two way street in here. Stupid asks and Stupidity answers.

Yo Hank, I see you're stirring the pot again!! As usual you ask decent questions. Most of the time I don't waste my time with brain dead questions but every so often the frustration sets in and I tee off on someone. Sometimes when I see, "Who's going to win the world series" I'll give the I broke my crystal ball answer. Yea, I share your pain. Like one person said, I wish some of these bozos would take a basic English grammar class.

I rather answer an opinon question then someone's math problem, or chemistry problem. It is to see what other people think.

as to answer your questions you pose.
Glavine, Red sox, bonds (any who use steriods) the redsox,

These people come from everywhere....you , me, the next door neighbor, teh milkman, the high school soccer coach..etc,

So in the end I waste my time answering "dumb" questions as you say

Barry "Balco" Bonds will break the record next year unless someone gets Carl the Greenskeeper to cut his hamstring...he'll never hit another homerun again!

I agree....I prefer REAL questions and REAL answers....I detest the people that ask completely idiotic questions....the only good thing about the superficial questions is that you can answer for points (not that the points do anything for you)
Another pet peeve is people that can't spell or write in proper English......

Lighten up, sport. How serious can you be about baseball? It's a sport and it's fairly superficial in and of itself, don't you think? You ask the "serious" questions, if it's a big deal to you. Knock yourself out.

I guess I've seen those same questions on here 10,000 times. I know what you mean, it drives me crazy. I just bypass them and try and find something interesting.

because people feel like asking the sort of questions that they feel like asking that's why if you don't like the questions simply bypass them and move on the next question

I wonder about it myself. The only reason seems to me is that some of us are so bored and lazy to come up with a thoughtful questions.
