only 1 light bulb for light if you used a mirror on the light bulb would you have twice the light??

no. The mirror reflects light but doesnt emit light.

No, but you would have more light, it twinkles and makes the place look brighter. I'm sure someone, somewhere could quantify how much more light you will have in the room. But, that sounds really complicated and probably not very useful. So, what size is the mirror and what angle are you aiming it at the light bulb, and what size is the room, what colors are painted on the walls, what type of flooring and are there windows? Just wondering, don't know anything about science.

It may. The efficiency of the light would be improved because the surface area of the wall would not absorb the light, If the entire surface of all the walls were covered with small mirrors canted at different angles, theoretically, all light should reflect and be amplified by not being able to terminate anywhere until in a blinding flash the room would explode. But that doesn't happen, so, nice question. It will keep me awake tonight.
