Could a Cuban exile ever return to Cuba (eg vacation, see a friend or just anything) as long as Fidel is in power?

Drj, I am Honduran (well only half), not Cuban. In addition, I was just wondering out of curiousity because I have heard some weird things before (not likely that Cubans can go back), so that is why I am asking. Oh, and I am not an illegal either. I come from a family of lawyers and I think politicians.

Seems to me like that would be a dangerous proposition. Why would anyone want to go back to where they escaped from, while the criminals in charge remain in charge?

I think there's a reason why the term "exile" is used. They are never allowed to return.

I don't think I would try that little trip. Castro is just about dead he has cancer he couldn't even attend his birthday party. I think he said his brother would rule when he dies, the news says his brother is different than Castro as far as rules are concerned.
