I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find one- most seem to shred the paper too thickly, I need about 3 mm

I don't know of any shredders that size. If the manual one on E-bay is the same as the ones we briefly stocked they are useless as they stop working after a few sheets.

You can buy quilling strips from craft shops. Try contacting Past Times Quilling to see if they have a stockist near you. Tel/Fax 01332 840 582. They supply 2, 3, 5 & 10mm strips. Individual colours pack 100 about £1.20. Assorted packs of 175 at around £1.60 come in 35 colours or spring, summer, autumn, winter shades or 100 strip Christmas colours or 120 pack pastels, 60 pack silver/white or gold white or pearl/silver/gold satins. They also supply tools, adhesive, workboards and kits.

I found on one ebay. It is a hand cranked desktop model.
