If the wife just isn't in the mood again, and there hasn't been any sex for over a week,. She has problems with depression and sex is the last thing on her mind. Doesn't want it, and not interested what-so-ever. Should she get her husband off by hand or oral, so he can be satisfied? Should he just go without or resort to self satisfication day after day, week after week, month after month? What should the man do?

Been there and couldn't do that anymore ( 7 yrs.)..... It's hard moving on from someone that claims they love you , but won't let you touch her, hug her or hold her hand (???)....HELL, WE ARE ONLY HUMAN!.... Love is Action...so I had to move on! She also suffered from Depression as well....& that complicated things alot.... Compromising didn't work!! Good luck to you!

Buddy when you go without sex for more then a few months then you can ask this question but for now you have no worries maybe she just wants a break from the same old stuff give her space she will come around do not pressure her or make guilt trips about sex.
Marriage is more then just having a sexual partner for life it is communication, talking being there for the good times and the bad. Love your wife for who she is not for a piece of meat
sex is not to be one-sided it is suppose to be pleasure for both people involved.

You could always try being a good and supportive husband and concentrate on helping you wife overcome her depression, rather than worrying about your own wants and desires.
A week?! Cry me a river... My wife has next to no sex drive and has been that way ever since I met her. Once a month is regular for us. If that makes her happy, then it's often enough for me too.

One thing I would do first is to ask her what is the problem. I have dealt with this same situation and in my case my ex-wife did not know why she dod not want to have intimacy with me. I even recommended she go to a marriage counselor which is something you might consider advising your wife to do. There is some reason why she feels the way she does and she needs to find out what the reason is because it can lead ultimately to divorce or worse adultery. So waht do you do in the meantime? Bear with her until you feel you must do something.

The man should make his wife feel good about herself, so that she wants to have sex. The man should take care of his wife's emotional needs in order for her to be in the mood. The man should only get what he puts into the marriage. If you put nothing into building a lasting relationship with her, how in the heck do you think she's going to be willing to give what you want?
Communication buddy. that's the key. That's really the main thing. Let her know how beautiful she is. But don't just come out and say it. Show her. Try this...... in the bathroom, when she's getting ready for work, walk up to her from behind. Looking at her in the mirror. Grab her face with one hand on each side, gently, and say. Do you see that right there. Turn her head a little to the side. She'll say what? See what? See the way your eyes sparkle in the light? She'll smile. Then say, and that right there. Look at that smile. You have the most beautiful smile. She'll probably say, what's wrong with you? You say, you know hunny, sometimes with my work and everything on my mind, I forget to tell you how beautiful you really are. You make me feel good about myself when we're out in public. I'm the envy of every man looking at you. Then just kiss her on the cheek, say, I'll let you finish getting ready and talk to you later. Smack her on the but on the way out.
Give her a hug and kiss before you or her leave for work. Call her during the day, just to say "How is your day!" and "I miss that smile of yours." If you just take the time to do this a little bit more. She'll be a sex slave for you! You really don't know women! All they really want is to be appreciated, cared for, and taken care of. Make them feel good about themselves, and they will make you feel good about yourself.
