Blue "snow" can be the drip from a leaking lavatory on an older aircraft. Since aircraft are pressurized, any leak will become a spray and at 35,000 and -50° F that spray forms an ice ball.
The B727-200 has a forward lavatory and when it leaks the ice ball can fly right into the #3 engine. This has happened and the engine seizure torque tore it from the aircraft.http://www.ntsb.gov/recs/letters/1990/A90_115_116.pdf
There was an incident where an ice ball crashed through someones house and landed on his dining table. He tasted it and said," it tasted pretty good" then someone told him what it was and....
Here is a story of an exploding toilet (dry ice incident) on an aircraft that I have worked on:

Do you remember the Nixon story?
Seems someone at the white house wrote "F*#k Nixon" in the snow in urine.
The Secret service were called and they investigated.
Their report read," It was Agnews urine but Pats handwriting".

you shouldn't eat snow period. it picks up all the gross smog & debris along the way down. think about how dirty a white hat gets when you wear it for a day-- try being a snow flake falling from the sky. that picks up so much more junk on its way down! so say no to eating snow!

Any other colour but white.
I avoid eating all snow because the water that they snow came from, was absorbed into the atmosphere from polluted water.
