Good Move!

AOL uses McAfee, which does an excellent job if you don't mind it coming up every time you log on!

Norton works well, but seems to use most of your system's resources when it is running.

I found AVG a bit sketchy...when it worked, it was OK.

I switched to Microsoft OneCare (FREE for 90 days)...It works GREAT and never gets in the way. Defender (FREE!!!) also works well!

this was a good and wise move. Norton is one of the worst memory hog programs going today. I use Avast and Windows Defender, and feel secure. Why pay the price Norton is asking when you can get just as good free! Good for you!

Indeed it was a very good move! I use avg free 7.5 along with ad-aware se personal free edition plus spybot search and destroy. I love avg because it is not a cpu hog, and because I am no longer bothered by viruses and worms.

I'm a former norten's user

anything is better than nothing....aol security is a memory hog and can slow down the fastest computer or not work at all if the memory isn't at least a gig...
