For accessories my only choices are pretty much silver and black.

For eye-makeup, it seems like red would make me look sick. So instead of looking sick, what color will go with the (bright) red of the dress?

Oh, and I have fairly pale skin and very very dark hair.

Black accessories look really sharp with a red dress. I would keep the makeup simple. Playing up the eyes with a dark liner and mascara would be fun. Try a bone or ivory color shadow. I'd go without blush, just too much with the red dress. A neutral lip color similar to your natural lip color would be best. Or even just a gloss. Let the red dress and heels make the statement. Try to keep the rest more simple and don't overaccessorize.

And have fun!

Definitely do the smokey eye with a lighter nude shade on your lips. For your cheeks use a blush that has a hint of color and some shimmer in it to really give you that sultry night diva look. That will make you look anything but sick, trust me. Pull your hair back too, that will make the whole look, look really classy.

As for the accessories, go light on the accessories red can be a pretty overbearing color that not many people can pull off so if you use too many accessories you may end up looking like an overwrapped gift. So if you have any nice silver or even diamond jewelry I think that would go best. Keep it simple!

I'm sure you'll look ravishing, have fun!

don't wear red.... unless you're doing it a little bit on your lips. Try doing a subtle smoky look using a combination of a soft grey, a shimmering white, and a kohlish black. Put the white under your brow and swipe down over the whole lid (without redipping into the eyeshadow) put the black in the crease and the grey from the crease down with a little bit going around the eye towards the bottom lid. Use some eye liner and mascara and you should look fine. It'll be a little sexy . I say you can use gold jewelry unless ytou dont want to appear flashy then go with silver.

I think sheer, but not too much and as for lip stick i think a gloss with a little tint maybe pink or clear...its really hard because if you have the skin tone to wear the red dress you should be able to rock the lip stick, I think you should take chances. By the way me and her are going to the same christmas Party tonight! big shout out to Talla-Tech! lol

Hello,

There's several looks you can go with for eye makeup that will enhance your eyes and have a balance with colors.

For a sophisticated look:
Try using a shimmery gold with a dark brown in your crease of your eye... and a bronzer on your cheeks. Shimmery gold colors or MAC pigments would be best. I would use a light lipstick color but use lip gloss or MAC lipglass.

For a sultry look:
Use dark colors like dark blue and black... make your eyes stand out by having a "smoke" look to it. Use pink or a light shade pink as your lip stick. Also use a bronzer mixed with your blush.

Hope you look awesome at your party. Just be aware to also dress nice, but alway be professional. You don't want to be the "talk or gossip" in your workplace.

Have fun!

Bright Red Lipstick, get a good shiny one, and toned down eyes... just black mascara. My best friend wore a Red dress with red shoes last christmas and we spent a whole day working on the different combinations of makeup... this is what worked for her.
Remember golden rule of Make up that you need never do the over kill on both eyes and lips... go full on with one otherwise your face looks too busy.

If you skin has a yellow undertones go with gold jewelry. If your skin has more pink undertones or olive go with silver. If you don't want metal jewelry go with white pearls and a white overcoat. Don't use to many accessories! If you want to look sexy go with smokey eyes and lip gloss. If you are more adventurous go with red lipstick and mascara. If you want to be flirty use lip gloss, mascara, and light eye shadow. It really is about what you feel most comfortable in. Have fun!!

I would say go with something neutral. Something natural, considering the dress is so bright colored. Taupe maybe, with a thin, thin line of black eyeliner very close to your upper lashes. It would be too much, I think, to wear, say, purple eyeshadow and a red dress. I would probably not opt for red lipstick too. I think it might be overdoing it. But I suppose it all depends on your dress. I guess its kind of a "you have to see it on" kind of deals. But my best guess is that you should go lighter on the make-up.

You should do the smokey eyeshadow look for that. Use the grays and blacks and outline your eyes with dark liner.
If you want it more natural looking use a glittery gold color and line your eyes with black.

I would go with a light, shimmery color.
Think like white or silver.
Everyone is suggesting black or "smoky" but, seeing as I too am pale, I realize that sometimes that can be a bit much.
