The religions of the world are often deep rooted in the geography of the world. And, in the Middle East many religions can trace their origins to that part of the world. It would be impossible to extract people from the roots of their religion.
The perfect solution would be wrapped up in one word...Tolerance.
If each group would allow the other religion to practice, it would be a start toward peace. And, of course, the need for oil by the Western nations and the tremendous need China has for oil, makes the issue of oil and the revenues derived from oil, a very hot and volatile issue.
A centralized government, (coalition) to share in the income/revenues from oil. must be established, guaranteeing each individual citizen within the Middle East, equal opportunity to share in those revenues from oil.
Tolerance and revenue sharing (oil) must be established with a centralized and independent judiciary, not based upon religion, but laws that allow for religion, without any established religion having precedence.
Good question...With so many answers.

Conflicting religious beliefs have been at the core of the ongoing warfare in that region from time immemorial. There will be no peace in the Middle East until zealots and proselytizers are humbled by the realization that all their beliefs are based upon a misconception about the nature of god.

No. This has been going on for thousands of years. They hate each other and nothing will ever change it. Sad.
