If they cannot afford to tip properly, they should all go to the grocery store, cook for themselves and clean-up the mess afterward.
I totally agree, stay home and eat PB or whatever you have on-hand.

Well if the service is great I always tip them 20%....but if the waiter or waitress serves me with an attitude and can't get my order right I leave them a penny....LOL.....that should teach them better customer service !
We don't go to restaurants to get free food, we expect good service since we're paying...so they need to earn their tip. Sorry if this upsets anyone that's why I was never a waitress.
Have you considered changing careers?? Maybe you're the kind of waiter that always has an attitude and don't get orders right that I leave a penny as a tip....LOL

I always tip at least 20%.... your work is the hardest....to put up with rude hungry people , you should be paid more......thats why employers should pay you a decent wage. You should not make you living on the hopes of tips...eating places have slid on this for too long, thats where the problem lies....dont worry the day of the laborer is comming......and also you can tell when the waiter , waitress, server, host , food supplier,(or what ever you guys call yourselves from one week to the next )wants to be doing what there doing. There are a lot of good servers out there but there are loads of shitty ones too!!!!!!

One I wouldn't give you a tip because of your little attitude. Secondly, you're the one working a low end job complaining about not getting a good tip, and we can see why so maybe you should stay home in YOUR ghetto because us people with real money get it by saving our money rather than spilling it out to your sorry ***. Thirdly, who cares if you remember our face, what are you gonna do take off your apron and fight me over the crumpled up dollar you were going to get anyways? Get over it junior, that's the business and by the looks of it you're probably heading towards a bright future in the minimum wage food industry....enjoy.

Some people really can't afford to leave big tips. That dinner might be a special treat for them. Maybe you shouldn't be so rude. It's not always about you.
I was a waitress when I was younger so I understand what it's like to get a small tip but...your attitude sucks. Maybe that's why the tip is so small?

I was a waitress for two years and I only got stiffed twice, and both times the people were very concerned about the price of every little thing. They were obviously cheap skates. However, if you were to ever try to be anything except a waitress, you might want to invest in a grammar book.

Seems to me that you have been getting bad tips, I mean come on now with an attitude like that I wouldn't be surprised! You get what you deserve..if its a crappy tip then it sure as hell must have been crappy service.
But I do agree that most people should have better tipping etiquette...

What makes you think that you should even get a tip? you get paid by your employer, and if he is not paying you what you think you should be getting then talk to him or her. The food business pays below minimum and they want the customer to pick up the balance. Maybe you don't get tips because of your attitude. Did ever think of getting into some other field of work?

A few people are lousy tippers no matter what. Some people tip depending on the service. A lot of people tip on how cute the waitress is.

when you say ghetto what do you mean? Why does a cheap *** customer have to live there? Are you covering up the fact that you are refering to minoritys such as blacks, latinos, or asians?
