Yes...you can download a program from the maker of your phone. Then, you connect your mobile to your computer, either through bluebooth or an actual lead, then you type the text into the program using ur computer keyboard, it sends it to your phone and your fone sends it. Obviously, it will cost you the same as if you had typed the text out on the phone urself. I know Nokia has a program called PC Suite, if you have a Nokia, check it out.

Yahoo! Messenger sends SMS. I don't know if it'll do it for UK numbers, but I bet it will.
