The person who asks the question on Yahoo Answers is the one who chooses which answer they like the best. I've noticed that a lot of people provide just a link to information without an explanation of the link or the answer to the actual question in their answer. If people wanted to read pages and pages about a topic, or look it up themselves, they likely would have used Google or another Search Engine to begin with. Also, some people do not take questions seriously, and answer with some answers that are even more stupid than some of the questions that are asked. Bottom line, think about if you were asking the question,what kind of answer would you want to receive. Double check your spelling, site sources whenever possible, and don't get freaked out if your answer isn't choosen as the best answer, some people are just dumb and will chose any answer as the most helpful, or the first answer they receive.
