A life well lived is the best revenge. My ex really brought a load of sh!t into my life, and it kills her that I am still functioning. I know God loves her to and some day He will turn her heart.

If revenge is your true wish, I can't help you. Most of your answers are very wise, & AyeCan expressed it best. The reality is, that the best way to "get even" if that's your choice, is to IGNORE. Nothing a hurtful person loves more than getting a RESPONSE. I have a problem with "forgiving." I simply don't believe that's part of the best process for you, & depending on the degree of the "hurt," it will be difficult to "forget"--at least for awhile. As for the candle/s, such things can work. A woman was using "black magic" on me; things hardly anyone would believe, but real. Bones rattling, whispering in the middle of the night, turning lights off & on. Very disconcerting! I chose to laugh outloud at her until she finally went away, realizing she couldn't "get" to me. Black candles have power, (okay you skeptics), if you use them, be sure they don't backfire on you. They CAN.

Why do something evil back to them? Two wrongs don't make a right. That will just make you as bad as the person who hurt you. You want to give this person something to think about? Pray for him. He won.t know what hit him.

Get in a quiet space in your home and burn a black candle - stare intently at the flame and concentrate on that person and how they have done you wrong and create a chant that applies to the situation, such as "For the wrong Michael did to me I ask it return to him" or something like that...repeat the chant and watch the fame burn the candle for as long as you can......then let Karma take care of them.

I realize this sounds weird but trust me one time and try it....

I'm going to have to say that's probably not the right way to go. I know you may be really angry right now, but trust me, what you do comes back to you, and whoever hurt you, will get there's in the end without you participating in this vicious circle.

Why would you give someone the satisfaction of getting mad right back at you...why degrade yourself...if you laugh at them or ignore them or treat them kindly...it will affect them way more than an evil response...

Go on with your life and forget them. To be forgotten is the worse thing for someone who is trying to hurt you.

Forgive is a better choice. `An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind' Believe me , forgiveness is not only divine but will bring you good luck.

Walk away and live your life the best way you can, because when you succeed, it's like a thousand daggers piercing through their hearts. (Yeah, I'm being dramatic, but there's no greater victory than this...)

The best revenge is to live well.

In the meantime, consider that they are their own worst punishment, and their actions WILL catch up with them.
