I am getting so sick of all the racism on Answers. Its so exhausting, It makes me not even want to get on here anymore. Its one thing if someone is asking a question because they are sincerely interested, but the majority are just sick, and would never say these nasty things to someones face.

Trust me I know how you feel. Yahoo goes after the wrong people too, they don't suspend the racist people but the good people like me for 'epithets & slurs' that I never even said and they won't even reply back to my appeal I hate Yahoo.

I agree. It is very exhausting. I am not agreeing because I'm black, I'm agreeing because it's wrong. The best advice I can give is to not let it anger you. You see it so much from ALL races, including mine, and you think, "Wow, I can't believe how many people are like this!" But they are far and few between. The other thing, the internet is a faceless community. It's easy to be an asshole when noone can call you on it face to face. I've learned to not take it seriously, or give an intellegent, relevant answer in order to maybe make someone understand a little better about the side they think they hate. If you read my other answers, you will see what I mean. Truly, there is no reason to feel like this anymore.

Hokey--but "Consider the source." I wouldn't agree that the majority are sick; just ignore the ones who are. Don't let them ruin your day. There will ALWAYS be people like this. Just give 'em a metaphorical swipe with you fly swatter. I try to focus on those who are sincere, well informed, & civil. That's rewarding enough for me to sift out out the rest. (Not to say that "sometimes" I'm tempted to zap them!)

I think it's done more for the "Shock" value than true feelings. Quite possibly, that may be wishful thinking on my part. For the most part, you should be able to sort through the true responses, the ones attempting humor and the B.S.

I agree. But give them a break- how else are they going to rant about their severe dislike of a certain race? (Gasp) You don't expect them to actually TALK to someone of the opposite race, do you? But, that's so... so... personal... that would be too scary...

i agree, but wat can u do?? just don't answer their questions, it only justifies them and gives them power to keep asking...just remember they r a minority, trying to spread their ignorance...it won't happen if u just ignore them.

Have a nice day!
