I can't even search for the artists I want as they are only on either the Spanish or Japanese iTunes Store. If I create an account on these other stores is this illegal (as I would have to lie about where I live) how else can I get the songs I want without looking for them on eBay or Amazon or something...

It's because you havent got bank accounts in the relevant countries, If it was simple, then us Brits would get the cheaper ones from the US instead of being ripped off here .
