Perhaps you are at the point where you not only need to learn the course material, but you also need to learn how the teacher tests and grades.
Each teacher is different in this respect, and while there is some regulation of this in high school, the skill of learning how a class works will help you greatly in college, where teachers are known to often have wide variations in teaching style.
Apart from that, do not at any point say that it is "too hard." you will find that math at the high school level is pretty straightforward once you learn the rules that the numbers and functions operate by. I can speak from experience that trying to understand the basic rules, and learning how the teacher tests, can get you at least as far as multivariable calculus.
In short, don't sweat it, and take your challenge in math as a chance to grow. If you gave up on your first bad grade, you wouldn't get too far in life.

I had the same problem in Geometry. What I did was i actually did the homework and my grade was still low so I had to ask the teacher for after school help. Trig and Geometry are just those kind of classes where the teachers don't lecture. They give you page numbers you do them they ask you if you have any questions and then the next chapter starts. Or at least it's like that at my school. Just get more help! And find a tutor or teacher that you understand or you actually learned from them in the past.

Don't give up on math totally. I loved algebra and calculus and statistics but I could never understand geometry. I can't think spatially. Ask your teacher or your dad for help. I find that math is easier to understand if you have real world examples--see if your teacher can put some of the concepts into context for you.

yeah, I know how you feel, I'm the same way.
Since your Dad is a Math teacher ask him for some
ways for him to show you how to understand trig.
Sometimes there can be short cuts to math that can help you , I'm not sure if this works w/ trig or not, it's been a while for me. Good luck

Just because your siblings and parent are good at math doesn't mean that you will be. A B is a good grade. Some people's talents lie in other areas.
Keep working at it and ask your siblings or parent if they can offer any help in tutoring you.

Because math is a challenging subject. You have to be able to sit down and concentrate very well and work through problems step by step.

Because Trigonometry (algebra, calculus, etc.) is stupid. When will you ever use it, honestly? Take a business math class. There you will learn real stuff that you will use later on in life, such as doing your taxes, etc.
