I love the book Sneetches and Other Stories. It has The Sneetches obviously but also "Too Many Daves", "The Zax" and "What Was I Scared Of?" I also loved his Sleep Book. And I love Fox in Socks and Green Eggs and Ham of course. :) And how could I forget Horton Hears A Who...after all...a person's a person no matter how small.
P.S. The Giving Tree is by Shel Silverstein!

I like the ones that have deeper meanings for adults too. I like The Butter Battle Book: it's all about arms races. Also Horton Hears a Who, which is about infinite smallness. And Sneetches, about conformity. Good stuff. Fun question.

"The Lorax"-- heart-breaking, though. Dr. Seuss (however true to his infectious and silly, sing-song rhymes) put the silliness aside with that book--it's one for all ages.

"Oh, the Places You'll Go"
My absolute favorite. I think it really has a message for anyone, ages 1 to 100. Really, it's great.
