Generally they begin to crawl between 7 and 9 months. All babies develop at different rates..don't worry :-)

There is no set age as to when babies start to do anything. My son didn't start crawling until after he learned how to walk at 9 months. Every baby is different. Enjoy her, before you know it she will be crawling out of the house to go out on a date. LOL

lol.. just relax. kids don't sit up till that age. I don't think they crawl until 8 or 9 months. I'm anxious for my daughter to crawl too, and she's just 4 1/2 months. Don't pressure, just play with them often, spend time with them, and they will crawl soon enough. Make sure your daughter has plenty of tummy time, and open spaced play (like on a blanket on the floor) with you watching and interacting with her.

Every child moves at their own pace. I do think 6 months is on the early side for crawling. At that age you should be more concerned if she is not rolling over or sitting up yet.

Not to worry, some babies never crawl. My son is 14 months and he skipped crawling and started to walk at 9 months.

My son showed no interest in crawling until he was 10 months old. He just had a big head and it was tough for him. But he has met all his other milestones right on track, so be patient. Tell her pediatrician if you are concerned and if there is any medical reason it can be found out.

Every child is different and reaches their developmental platues at different times. Around 6 or 7 months is when alot of babies began to crawl but some babies just take a longer time with than others. Your child will get there soon...

Its usually between 7 and 10 months. I wouldn't stress it though, some babies go straight to walking and never crawl at all.

My nephew just started crawling well crawling good. He is 7 months old. He cannot get into the crawling position on his own you have to lay him down on his tummy first. But then he just takes right off. Babies develope at different paces. You should ask your doctor just to make sure things are all right. Does she grab things? Laugh? Smile? Coo? You need to list other developmental milestones she has accomplished as to know that she is indeed developing. Some tasks are harder to learn and take longer with some babies. She will get the hang of it. Hang in there give her lots of tummy time and try to get her to crawl to toys and you. Lay down on the floor with her and talk to her to try to make her come to you. Make whatever you are trying to get her to crawl to exciting! Play games and keep trying she will get it.

Every baby is different.... some dont even crawl at all!!! Do as much Belly time as possible that strenghthens the Crawling Muscels. But i wouldnt worry about it. Baby will crawl when shes ready or maybe she'll just skip it all together.
Also dont use walkers they digress their progress!
Remeber Lots of TummyTime!!!!
