how many women took pregnancy test and they came up negative and were really pregnant?? why im asking im 3 days into my sugar pills and still no period and no sign of a period coming i usually get it on the second pill and no its not normal for me to miss a period when ive been on birth control and im no little kid im 21 and just wanted to know... my first pregnancy it took a month and a half to show that i was pregnant

i know theres not a big chance on getting pregnant when on pills but i take the pills some times 6-9 hours late

and also in november i took a prescription that said it can make the birth control less effective

I was pregnant back in Aug 04 (miscarriage) and couldnt get a positive pregnancy test until I was 8 days late....and even then the only test that picked it up was a digital test (my dr said they are more sensative). I would try one of those if your unsure.

Maybe your body doesn't produce enough of the hormone to show up on test like that. The best thing for you is to see you doctor and have blood taken.
Strange you're on the pill though, it's possible but if you take it like you should you're probably not pregnant. Give it a few more days and relax (stress can effect a test also) and then contact a doc if still no period.

I did....I took one and then 2 weeks later I took another one when I was really late on menstrual exactly 7 days late it came back positive. Everyone is different b/c the pregnancy test needs to detect the HCG chemical which shows and tell you are pregnant. Good luck and hope you get the results you want......take care.....

hi, i fell pregnant while being on the pill, and all the tests i took were negative untill i was 2months preg, so you could still be pregnant maybe just too early to tell, try asking for a blood test from ure doc

I was 19 weeks pregnant with my oldest before they were able to confirm through any test that I was pregnant. I was 13 weeks with my middle before a test would confirm pregnancy. My daughters kept me guessing. My son was only 4 weeks when he was confirmed. Every baby is different, keep getting tested if your unsure. Good Luck....

Then you answered your own question hunny. Every woman is different. If it took you a while last time, then you could possably ovulate late, or maybe the hormone just isn't strong enough. Concider getting a blood test.

i have never gotten a neg when i was pregnant however if you say that it took six weeks into your pregnancy to tell the first time i would think it would take that long this time too. good luck.

i found out with my 3rd child on the 4th test, i dont carry a lot of the hcg early on in pregnancy

Three times I had a false positive, then I had it confirmed at 3 mths.
