i heard that coach rich of wvu's football team took alabama's offer ?? I certainly hope this is not true.

not officially yet. the deadline if COB today, friday the 8th. if he did he would be breaking his contract with WVU and a lot of the money made with alabama would go to breaking that contract, but lets think about this here, bama needs a lot more than a new coach to aviod the big number 6! war damn eagle

Yes I heard the rumor too. I am a huge Mountaineer fan and I hate to see this happen. If I was Rich I would have taken the offer too. You cant hate him for doing that. Bama is paying him huge for this and its all about the cash anymore. I just hope we can find another decent coach.

Someone told me today that WVU counteroffered, and the final decision is supposed to be announced later this afternoon.

he did verbally, but now WVU is trying to negotiate a match of the contract with him. i guess he might decide by today
