1. Global Warming will be found to be the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind.

2. The ruination of economic superpowers will occur as a result of this hoax.

3. Vladimir Putin had directed the poisoning of several influential individuals in society including but not limited to, Christopher Reeve, Fidel Castro, Kylie Minogue, Michael J. Fox, Graham Chapman from Monty Python as well as high ranking government officials who shall remain nameless. He did this not with the intent of subterfuge or by having clandestine political motives but rather that he was enamored with party gags and used his station in life to perpetuate these.

4. Michael Richards is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize after denouncing comedy and becoming a Tibetan Monk.

5. Arnold Schwarzenegger retires as California Governor and forms a rag-tag group of mercenaries which overthrows a small Pacific Island nation and then declares himself dictator. His back catalogue of films is shown by proclamation every Friday night and Sunday morning on the state run broadcasting channel.

6. The Dalai Lama renounces Tibet and shacks up with Britney Spears.

7. The coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs goes postal while at a Boston game and assassinates half of his team.

8. Yoko Ono begins to hold weekly seances at her condo which provokes the New York City board of health to declare her residence a disaster area. Mayor Bloomberg asks FEMA for assistance.

9. People now board international flights by getting into little self-contained pod devices and being rolled onto the jet by stewardesses.

10. The Great Walls of America are finished; one at the U.S. /Mexican border and one at the U.S./Canadian border.
Coincidentally perhaps, the largest ever can of spraypaint
is invented; each container produced has enough paint to
stripe the new NAFTA highway which goes from Mexico to Alaska.

11. Martha Stewart is brought out of retirement and set to work advising the U.S. army corp of Engineers on how best to decorate the new Great Walls.

You are assuming that there will be history books after 2012. I'm not sure anyone can even come close to predicting these things. In 1934 not many people would have predicted WW2.

History 100 years from now will describe the decline and fall of America to be gobbled up by the United States of Mexico. Too many unintelligent short-sighted politicians like in days of Rome, looking for votes instead of protecting the sovereignty of our great country. We finance and incourage illegal immigration which in tern produces US financed Latino population growth (i.e. free babies) and they are NOT going back EVER. Mexico probably got rid of its death penalty for hardened criminals as just dump them northward on the USA. Something like 21,000 Norte Americanos have been murdered by illegals in recent years. The money Mexicanos spend on "guides" to get them in illegally could pay for LEGAL immigration. Some charge $1500-$2000, then smuggle in drugs as well.
