yes it is. remember that during pregnancy, your skin will get dry, and lose the natural glow, so u need to take extra care of yourself, use more body lotion, and dont forget about using something for your lips, drink more water because your baby is taking alot of your nutrients, leaving u with less for yourself so that is why your diet has to increased since u are nurturing yourself and your baby at the same time. good luck with your baby. i hope u have a healthy one!

Yup. Skin stretching causes itching and it can be really annoying. I went through the same thing when I was pregnant I even itched for a little while after having my son, but now Im ok and everythings back to normal.

It's not uncommon to feel itchy, particularly around your growing belly and breasts as your skin stretches to accommodate them. Hormonal changes may also be partly to blame...hormones do SO MUCH to us.

Some pregnant women find that their palms and the soles of their feet get red and sometimes itchy. This common condition may be caused by an increase in estrogen. It usually disappears right after delivery.

You may also find that things that normally make you itchy — dry skin, eczema, food allergies — make you even itchier when you're pregnant.

I was itching crazy when I was pregnant, up to the scalp. I also thought it wasnt normal, so i guess it is normal now. But be carefull with scratching, it will leave a lot of stretch mark. I developed scratches on my bikini area. They are ugly!!!

It was with me and I have had five kids. One good way too relieve it would be to take a bath in oatmeal.(place the oatmeal in an old nylon. Tie it off and trow it in the bath water.) Aveno is so expensive and this remedy is safe because anything can filter in the body.

each pregnancy is different even for the same woman. itching may be as a result of ur skin stretching, change in hormonal activity, change in diet, or if ure taking supplements (materna, etc) see if u can get another.

if it is a result of stretch shin, DO NOT SCRATCH, as this contributes to stretch marks, areas include tummy, breasts, legs, bottocks, even arms because in most cases a pregnant woman gains weight all over.

Completely normal as long as there is no rash. Use some lotion also it is probably the weather drying your skin out. It doesn't help I am sure. Use bunches of lotion! More the reason to visit bath and body works.

Yep...normal. Your skin is really going to expand over the next six weeks. Just keep lotion handy!
