I have had injuries to my hamstring, calf, and illotibial band and they are all extremely tight. They are so tight that they are extremely hard to stretch without hurting my muscles more, thus making them even tighter. Anyone experienced this or no what I should do? Thanks.

If you haven't already seen a sports med doctor, I would recommend going to one. They can refer you to a phyiscal therapist to do the proper stretches for your injuries. If that is not an option, please do not go to a chiropractor. They are not certified doctors and simply push you back into place. They do not actually fix the problem.

Yoga and/or pilates would be your best bet if going to a doctor is not an option. be sure that you stretch your calves, hamstrings, quadricept and your inner and outer thighs.

initiate slowly after your muscle mass heal. Soaking and stretching in a warm bath will help loosen the muscle mass slightly. Your flexibility will strengthen with time do no longer rush it are you will possibly be able to reason your self extra discomfort and having to initiate over with the completed technique.

You should go see a chriopacter and he can help loosen those muscles. When I see the chriopacter he really makes me feel good and he loosens up everything.
