And how did you get out of it?

I feel pretty good now, but like everyone I've had some tough times. Actually, I feel pretty lucky.

What about you? Tell us your story!

Watching my dad die of leukemia was rough, but I did everything and said everything I felt like I needed to, so I have no regrets.

Although I'm not that old I've had too many depressive times in my life to mention, the way I've got out of this is to remember that life is too short to be unhappy the past is the past and to live for the moment you can not change what has already happened face up to your problems head on and after something bad something good always happens. I know what you mean when you say yo are a lucky person i feel that I'm also a very lucky lucky person. Hope you can maintain this approach in your life and enjoy it to the full while you can. GOOD LUCK BE HAPPY!!!!

Being out there in the streets doing everything under the sun and feeling lost, even though I had a good job and degrees on my wall. None of that mattered.

How did I get out of it...I dropped down to my knees and prayed for God to come into my life and deliver me from the evil that had taken hold of me. That was 8 years ago and I have never looked back since only to reference others on my testimony.

I suffered from chronic depression 24/7 from the age of 13-20. Everyday felt horrible and it was just awful. The problem was the home I lived in, leaving "home" to me really helped, I did that for a while and got someone I could talk to about it. Now I am much much happier. And the person who helped me is one of my "heroes".

My 30th birthday was depressing ! Not for the fact that I was turning 30 and it bothered me but because no one remembered. I never have a problem with age. I love every year I get to experience but when those you love don't remember your special day it weighed heavy on my heart.

I was soon over it because nothing keeps me down... I woke the next morning thankful that I woke up!!

I am right in !!!

No job (looking for one), no money (due to the no job part), no boyfriend, no house of my own (I live with my parents, well it's ok but terribly boring), my friends are far away... and my heart was broken by the man I love.

Hard time but I'll get through it.
