how do i change the background on my myspace profile?

below is a list of sites for layouts, graphics, codes, etc. the layouts are usually divided up into categories. once you find a layout you like follow these steps:

1. pick the layout and look for the code the website provides(usually right below the image, or it'll say "click here to get this layout")
2. copy the code.
3. log into your myspace so it's on your home page and hit edit profile.
4. paste the code that you copied into your "about me" section.
5. save that and then view your profile and your new layout should be up.

On the first page (home page) you come to on Myspace... there is a spot to "edit profile". Or you can do a search for MySpace backgrounds, layouts, etc...


There are several sites devoted to making your MySpace page look like you want it to.

you can edit it there, its a very simple myspace editor

then when your done, click on 'code' on the top right

then click 'preview this code' and it will show you a sample page of what it will look like but without your personal stuff on it

if you like it, copy that big code they have on the web page there..
then go to edit your myspace page and go to where you can edit the 'about me' part

then just copy and paste that big code into that box and then save it

you wont see the code on your page, it will just make your page look the way you had made it on the site, and it'll just put a link on the bottom of your 'about me' section that says 'i edited my page with (blah blah).'

there is no feature in myspace that allows you to do this you have to go to a website and copy over the HTML code into the section that it tells you too and that will give you the background .You can search gooogle for the websites but i usually usee.....

Go to www.mygen.co.uk and it will give you premade layouts, or you can make your own. It will give you an html code that you copy and paste into the About Me section of your profile.
