hi,
I think everybody needs some entertainment in their busy lives right now, no matter how you make your-self relaxed. Playing games is not bad i am a gamer too, at age 22. As playing games you know that some games are rated M+ (for mature 18+) so if developers make the games for us then why not play it and enjoy. And when people tell you that it is childish to play games you should notice that mostly they will be elderly people and this goes with thier thinking(generation gap). So moral of the story keep playing and enjoy yourself.

The average computer gamer is in their 30s. The whole 'only kids play computer games' is a myth. There is a significant amount of people who play and support computer games. Don't worry, just do what you love to do and ignore the critics. It's entertainment.

Sounds like you have a girlfriend who just doesn't get you. Playing games on your computer, NES, XBOX, PS, what have you is a means of escaping and relaxing from the world around us. As long as it does not take up a huge part of you life , interfere with your social functioning, or interfere with your life, then I would say it is fine. I have played video games since they came out, and I still like to play them. Where else can you fight demons, fly on dragons, be able to breathe under water, or shoot lightning from your finger tips? My question to you is are you a WoWer?

If you play an hour or so a day that is fine. If you spend your entire day in your moms basement playing WoW and have no job, no friends, and no life. Well then you need to quit with the games.

There's nothing wrong with still playing video games. I'm 20 and I still do. My dad played them all the time until his death at 39. Just be sure it's not the main focus of your life.

As long as you are doing other more constructive things with your life going to school, working not a thing wrong with it. Every body needs a hobby. By the way I'm 60 and love playing Sims2.

I'll be 29 next week and i still love playing video games. Who cares what others may think about you, as long as the ones that matter to you like kids, girlfriend, family are cool with it then who cares. Whatever floats your boat......

Keep killing demons! whoever told you that you need to stop playing video games needs to have their head checked
(unless playing video games keeps you from eating and showering and using the bathroom)
